When I think about why I became a photographer, it’s not about the first time I picked up a camera; it’s about seeing life in moments worth remembering. I remember sitting with my parents’ photo albums for hours, tracing each image with my fingers, feeling the laughter, the quiet, the love frozen in every frame. I could see the sunlight spilling across a kitchen table, the way my grandparents’ living room smelled of Canadian maple cookies or of Grandma's spaghetti sauce, the little gestures between family members that made ordinary days extraordinary. Those photos taught me something powerful: it’s the small, everyday moments, the ones you might barely notice at the time, that hold the most meaning when you look back.
When Brandon and I got married, we had the chance to choose a photographer who could truly capture the start of our life together in the most meaningful way. That experience showed me just how invaluable these memories are, and why I dedicate myself to preserving the joy, love, and connection in every wedding and family session I photograph.

I guide your family to engage naturally with one another, to be playful, silly, loving, and present. The photos are a reflection of an experience, not a production.
